Who to pray to....

Pray to God the Father. Steer away from praying to the recently departed, saints, Mary and even angels. They are all subject to the same God and they 'work for him'. So to avoid confusion and possibly allowing the enemy to gain a foothold go straight to the source. Also ask Jesus to help you when bringing your prayers to the Father, he is with you and is the ultimate intercessor. Through him you come into the presence of the Father. Jesus is always ready to help, as is the Holy Spirit who whilst living in you can also pour down on you with gifts and power for specific needs.
So to recap you are best off praying to God the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Avoid anything else as this will lead you into enemy territory.
