What to pray for....

Anything at all, but be wary of making deals with God. Firstly you don't have to. Secondly he may take you up on it ! But more importantly you may be setting yourself up to fail, and this can cause all manner of problems. Just ask, your Father in heaven works for your good in all things, even when it does not seem like it.
As you talk with him more you will get to know him better. So you will more readily be able to ask for the things you need as opposed to want.
Try not to ask for your enemies to be consumed by holy fire. Remember he loves them too, and the same chance for redemption is available to them.
Sometimes it is important to be persistent and to carry on asking for something, even if it looks like it is not going to happen. In Luke chapter 11 verse 5 onwards some guy needed bread in the middle of the night, and even though he was asking a friend he did not immediately get the bread. It is the combination of friendship and shameless persistence that sees the bread eventually given out. Bear that in mind when praying for something that seems beyond all hope.
